This is my second Austin Air. It replaces the one in our bedroom. The "old" one is more than five years old and still running perfectly. It is now in the living room. The design of these is excellent. They arrive ready to plug in and turn on. The wheels make it easy to move them around when vacuuming. What I love the most is the low maintenance filters. Five years or more! I wish all my appliances with filters were that efficient. If you're on the fence about getting an Austin Air, go for it. You will not regret the decision.

Excellent filtration. Cleans out a whole room in minutes on high. Only reason for four stars is because the unit arrived slightly squashed and the top isn’t quite level but mechanically it works perfectly fine. Definitely recommend if you want something without “smart” features that has one job and does it very well.

I'm a long time Austin Air customer, purchasing my first unit in the mid to late 90's, so I was probably one of their original customers, purchasing one by the recommendation of my chiropractor. I've purchased several in the past 3 decades or so. As the company evolved, the filters got better and better, so it was only natural that I replaced a 1998 machine with a new bedroom unit. I'm highly sensitive to all smells, especially chemical, and the bedroom machine delivers. The upfront cost is higher than others, but the filters last 5 years and are prorated. I run my unit 24/7 and the machines are solidly built, lasting decades. Austin Air customer service is also amazing, working with me recently to go above and beyond to resolve an issue that I had with my unit. Thanks Austin Air! Highly recommended!!

This machine is perfect for my needs! The noise it makes is a deeper, lower noise which is much more soothing than high pitch of other machines. And it’s almost noiseless on low speed. It’s done a great job cleaning the air! I was having trouble with allergy response to pollen, dust, and the sheet rock dust created by construction (that was poorly handled). This machine has made a huge improvement for me. I have no complaints at all. Unobtrusive, effective, and efficient. I’m delighted and would buy again!
