How the UV700 filters your air
Air passes through four levels. A cleanable pre-filter catches large dust and lint. An 18 lb activated-carbon bed adsorbs VOCs, gases, and odors. A True HEPA filter traps 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns—including PM2.5, pollen, dust, and dander. Finally, a UV-C germicidal lamp irradiates microorganisms captured on the HEPA, helping prevent trapped bacteria, mold, and viruses from being released back into the air.
