The FR400 is the genuine Austin Air replacement filter for the full-size HealthMate (HM400). It restores the purifier's complete 4-stage filtration—so your unit returns to capturing 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns and adsorbing the gases and odors it did when new. This is a genuine Austin Air filter (not an aftermarket copy), which matters for fit, the pressure seal, and rated performance.
What's in the filter
The HealthMate filter is a single cartridge that carries all four stages: a large-particle pre-filter and medium-particle pre-filter for dust, dander, mold, and pollen; a 780+ cubic-inch bed of activated carbon and zeolite for everyday gases and odors; and 60 sq ft of True Medical-Grade HEPA for fine particles. Swapping it renews every stage at once.
