We put this in our basement as we have a young daughter sleeping in a finished area and wanted to make sure the air was okay. Turns out we had a radon problem and close to a co2 issue. This alerted us to these issues, which lead to a radon vent being installed. Our CO2 is great, our Radon is gone and everything else looks good! I got it to detect mold and only slightly curious about the Radon. Glad we sprung for the higher model. If you care about Radon and don't want to spend as much, their batter powered sensor they sell here and at HD works great, we used it at our MIL and it matched up with the pro reading. This airthings Plus also matched the professional Radon sensors.

Good except for the battery situation

I've had my View Plus for a little over a year now. It seems reliable (consistent readings) and is easy to use and understand. I really like being able to see so many metrics at once - temperature, humidity, CO2 etc. My only issue with it is that the battery housing is poorly designed - it's very difficult to get the batteries out and if you have weaker hands it's impossible. I've also had to change the batteries twice in 14 months; far sooner than the advertised 2 years.

Great peace of mind

I really like how I get constant monitoring because radon levels fluctuate. This really gives me a peace of mind knowing exactly what the levels are at any given time.
